Bekina Boots was founded in 1962 by the Vanderbeke family and evolved from a shoemaking family into one of the largest international players in the field of polyurethane safety boots. Now, the third generation Vanderbeke leads the company. Over these 60 years of experience, they have been far from idle. With their own state-of-the-art laboratory for quality control and innovation, they continuously improve the features of their boots.

For the complete office design and coordination until completion, Bekina relied on interior architect Alexander Hugelier, who specializes in all aspects of interior design.

Interior architect Hugelier designed the office with fine custom work. “Interior, colors, and natural materials were developed and chosen with an eye for functionality and perspective. The transparent and geometric rough construction by the architects was carried through as a common thread in the interior.”

“Through an impressive entrance hall, with the reception desk as a focal point, a passage leads you to the central patio. There, we wanted to highlight the light and life brought in by the glass enclosure. We searched for an authentic, vibrant floor. At Stone, we found it within ten minutes: the cement-bound composite Grigio Venato. It was love at first sight.”
